Computing & IT Apprenticeship - Level 2 at Redcar & Cleveland College

Course description

To qualify for an Apprenticeship you must secure employment in the area of IT Systems and maintain computers and associated equipment as part of your role.

We offer Apprenticeships in many areas of IT, with flexibility to match your work requirements:  IT Technician (Hardware and Software)

  • IT Technician (Diagnostics and Testing)
  • Web Developer
  • Creative Media Developer

A variety of optional modules can tailor your course to fit closely with your employers needs. 

Entry requirements

Grade C or above to include English, Mathematics and a Science. You will collect evidence from work and produce a portfolio, to prove you have the skills. There may also be an online test of your systems knowledge.

Future opportunities

Once your IT modern apprenticeship is completed, apprentices obtaining high grades may be able to progress through to higher level qualifications.
