You will have a dedicated Trainer/Assessor who you can contact at any time. They will visit you in the workplace at least every 8 weeks to carry out a progress review with you and your employer.
If you are aged 16 to 18 when you start your Apprenticeship Programme, there is no charge to you or your employer as this is fully funded by the government.
If you are aged 19 or above when you start your Intermediate Apprenticeship, your employer will have to be willing to contribute as the Government will only fund part of the costs of your training. This will be discussed and agreed with your employer.
Other costs would include the purchase of your personal kit and uniform and any working resources.
