Course description

Sociology is the study of patterns and trends of behaviour in society, specifically Modern British Society. Sociology is a subject to which students can relate. It's relevant to everyday life so you can immediately engage with the subject even if you haven't studied it before. Studying sociology encourages students to develop critical and reflective thinking skills, and a respect for social diversity, which are useful skills to take to higher education and working life.
