Course description

Hull City of Culture 2017! never has there been a more appropriate time if you want to learn more about work in the travel and tourism sector.

The Level 2 course in Travel and Tourism is designed to help you gain employment within this exciting industry and will provide you with a variety of skills needed to work in this area. 

The qualification will cover many aspects of the industry to help you decide on a career path to follow.  There will be a programme of UK and overseas visits for the course for which you will be required to contribute towards the cost.  you will also have the opportunity top participate in relevant work experience and improve you English and Maths

  • Travel Planning
  • Interpersonal Skills for the Travel and Tourism Workplace.

Entry requirements

4 GCSEs at grade D including English and Maths plus satisfactory initila assessment ersults. Or Level 1 Diploma in Travel & Tourism at Merit with Functional Skills English Level 1

Future opportunities

Progression onto the Level 3 Extended Diploma in Travel and Tourism or Level 2 Cabin Crew Academy or into an Apprenticeship
