Public Services (Uniformed) BTEC Level 3 Diploma at Berwick Academy

Course description

This qualification has been designed to provide highly specialist work-related knowledge and skills (common values and core competencies), sought by employers in a range of public services, such as: communications, teamwork, leadership, problem solving, citizenship, diversity and discipline. 

You will learn through a large range of practical units followed by opportunities to practise and develop skills and experience outside of the classroom environment. This could include residential Army 'look at life' trips, adventurous activity courses, hill-walking and other educational trips. This is a very busy and varied course, which demands committment but rewards students with activity and fun elements. 

Entry requirements

You will require a minimum of four GCSEs at Grade C or above or a merit grade in the Public Services Diploma Level 2.

A good level of fitness is essential.
