Level 2 Creative Apprenticeships at The Thomas Alleyne Academy

Course description

As an apprentice, students will be employed by a business or organisation
for a minimum of 30 hours per week. They will earn a wage and will work
alongside experienced staff to gain job-specific skills. Off the job, usually on
a day-release basis, apprentices receive training to work towards nationally
recognised qualifications which, in this instance, will be delivered by The Da
Vinci Studio School.
Apprentices will need to complete a framework of qualifications which
relates to the occupation they have selected. Currently, there are
apprenticeship frameworks relating to the creative and cultural industries in:
• Community Arts
• Costume and Wardrobe
• Cultural and Heritage Venue Operations
• Design
• Live Events and Promotions
• Music Business
• Technical Theatre
• Jewellery
