Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools Certificate Level 3 at Acacia Training

Course description

This course is delivered both by taught sessions, observations in the workplace, product evidence and witness testimonies. Due to the standards required, this qualification is learner-led, and completed with an e- portfolio. Units include:- - Communication and professional relationships with children , young people and adults - Schools as organisations - Support learning activities - Promote children and young people’s positive behaviour - Develop professional relationships with children, young people and adults - Promote equality diversity and inclusion in work with children and young people - Support assessment for learning - Understand child and young person development - Engage in personal development in health, social care or children’s and young people’s settings - Understand how to safeguard the well being of children and young people - Support children and young people’s health and safety.

Who Should Apply:

This course is aimed at those working in schools, where learning and teaching plays a vital role in supporting children's learning whose job role includes taching puplis with some autonomy.

Future opportunities

You would be expected to have at least a level 2 qualification in Maths,and English, and have a good knowledge of ICT. You must be working in a school classroom environment.
