Advanced Apprenticeship in Legal Services at Kingston College
Apprenticeships are flexible and are designed to offer a structured programme of learning to fit around the needs of the individual and the employer.
Learning takes place mainly during employment through the development of ‘on the job’ skills, supported by your College tuition which will take place one day every other week. Both the on and off the job elements of the apprenticeship lead to nationally-recognised qualifications which are awarded by CILEx.
CILEx Level 3 Diploma in Providing Legal Services. • CILEx Level 3 Certificate and Professional Diploma in Law and Practice. • Functional Skills Level 2 in English, Mathematics and ICT. • Employee Rights & Responsibilities.

There are no formal entry requirements. However many employers will expect a high standard of literacy and numeracy e.g. GCSE grades A*-C/9-4, A Levels or for candidates to be able to show that they can work at this level, through experience gained in employment or voluntary work.
Assessment is continuous both in College and the work place.
On successful completion of this course students can progress to a Level 4 Higher Apprenticeship in Legal Services and to higher level opportunities in legal occupations.
