Childrens Care, Learning and Development - Level 3 BTEC National Certificate at Grange Technology College

It is likely that it will include areas such as:
- How to provide good learning environments
- How to encourage childrens learning and promote their development
- Safeguarding Children
- How children learn through play
It is also likely that you will be expected to complete work experience with children. At the moment, similar qualifications require 100 hours.
Entry Criteria: 5 x A - C grades GCSE English or level 2 CCLD at Merit or Distinction. Desirable minimum Grade C in English.
As you will be working with children it is essential that you are honest, trustworthy and reliable.
All care students will need a CRB / Police Record Check which will be organised by school and will require you to be able to produce a valid passport / birth certificate, NI number, bank letter addressed to you at your current address.
100% coursework assessed.
Any course or employment requiring level 3 qualifications careers involving working with children, play work etc.
Please note that you will need GCSE C+ in English, Maths and Science in order to progress to Teaching Courses.
You will also need to show involvement in out of school activities with service users.
