Team Leading Apprenticeship at West Anglia Training Association

Course description

This course will give you a Full Apprenticeship framework, all qualifications will be completed at work. The Technical Certificate will train you in Team Leading techniques, you will complete assignments and sit assessment tests to prove competence. The NVQ is also an assessment of your competence, you will complete a portfolio of evidence to achieve this qualification. You will be seen by a member of the Apprenticeship and Employability Team on a regular basis to conduct assessment reviews and ensure you are happy with your training scheme. If you do not have employment, you can apply to WATA and we will assist you in finding a 'Sponsor Company'.

Entry requirements

There are no formal entry requirements for this course, all candidates will be initially assessed and interviewed by WATA. It is desirable that you have some GCSE’s and it is an advantage if these are in Maths, English&Science subjects, but qualificatio

Financial information

WATA can access Government funding to support this qualification as part of a work based Apprenticeship programme. You will need to be employed to complete this training, your ‘Sponsor Company’ will contribute to the cost of your programme.

Future opportunities

The Level 2 Certificate in Team Leading has been designed to enable as many progression opportunities as possible. Suggested progression routes include, but are not limited to: - Occupational qualifications such as the EDI Level 2 NVQ in Team Leading, the EDI Level 3 NVQ in Management and EDI Level 3 Certificate in Management - Key Skills at Level 2 and level 3 - A Team Leading Apprenticeship for which this qualification meets the requirements of a technical certificate.
