Course description

The Edexcel BTEC Level 2 Award in Hospitality and Catering Principles (Hospitality Services) (QCF) is a 12-credit and 98-114 guided learning hour (GLH) qualification that consists of 2 mandatory units plus 1 unit from optional units group 1, plus units from optional units group 2, to make up a total of 8 credits from the optional units groups, this may include units not selected from group 1, that provide for a combined total of 12 credits (where at least 8 credits must be at Level 2 or above).

Entry requirements

For level 2 courses students will typically have grades D and E at GCSE, or pass grades at level 2.

Where the subject chosen has not been previously studied, English and Maths grades will be considered.
