Health and Social Care (Double Award) at Range High School

Course description

Health and Social Care ‘A’ Level can be taken as both a single (one ‘A’ Level) and a double (2 ‘A’ Levels) award. It is an applied subject which means that theory is linked to practice both through case study work and the opportunity to partake in a work placement.

Health and Social Care is a broad based course which provides knowledge and understanding of a wide range of client groups within the contexts of healthcare, social care, education and criminal justice.

It provides insight into these ever-changing sectors and is therefore useful both for those considering a career in care and those interested in working with people in any setting.
