Media BTEC Level 2 First Diploma at Chelmsford College

Course description

This course involves a general introduction to media. This will involve both the study of professional products such as magazines and film, as well as the planning, production and marketing of your own media products. Plus specialist units in photography.

Entry requirements

A minimum of 2 GCSEs grade D or above or successful achievement at a Level 1 vocational course

Assessment

Internally assessed coursework plus externally assessed examinations.

Financial information

You may have to purchase some of your media materials as required i.e. blank DVDs etc. and make a contribution to cover costs for media related trips.

      The campus also houses a Learning Centre, Skills Development Centre, Assessment Centre, Tutorial Centre, a Copyshop and Refectory. Situated on the grounds of this campus are Dovedale Nursery and Dovedale Sports Centre.
