Carpentry and Joinery Diploma Level 2 at West Suffolk College
This course is for learners who have completed the Carpentry and Joinery Level One Diploma, who have not yet gained employment and wish to continue their studies.

Any student aged 16 to 19 who does not hold a GCSE A* to C (9 to 4 on the new grading structure) or equivalent qualifications in Maths and English by age 16 will need to continue to study these subjects in each academic year.
Successful completion of the Progression to Carpentry and Joinery.
Level 2 Diploma in Site Carpentry
Learners who have completed the course may either progress onto the Level Three Diploma (Carpentry and Joinery) full time course, or gain employment and join the apprenticeship programme on a day release course at the College.
Of the students who completed this course last year 6% continued with Further Education and 65% secured employment.
2 A4 ring binders, A4 lined pad, Pens, Pencils 2H, Scale rule, Compass, Protractor, Rubber, 3m tape measure, all of which can be purchased at the college shop. You will need steel toe cap boots, for your workshop lesson.
