Course description

Explore the underpinning knowledge of the childcare sector for the first steps towards your career in the industry.

This Level 2 First Certificate is for anyone with aspirations to work within the childcare sector and build on existing knowledge and experience. Childcare has been taught at Craven College for 25 years by highly qualified childcare practioners with background in day nurseries, playgroups, hospitals, schools, child-minding and neonatal intensive care.

Work experience is essential on childcare courses. At Craven College, we provide those placements for you. In 2017 we sourced over 150 placements in locations such as Clitheroe, Shipley, Leeds, Bradford and Skipton due to our experienced tutors and their extensive industry links.
