Course description

The course offers an academic approach to the study of religion in which students adopt an enquiring, critical and reflective approach to the study of philosophical issues and religion. AS Modules – Utilitarianism, Situation Ethics, Religious Teaching on the Nature and Value of Human Life, Abortion and Euthanasia – Kant, Natural Law, Religious Views of the Created World, Environment A2 Modules – Libertarianism, Free Will and Determinism, Sexual Behaviour, Virtue Ethics, Science and Technology – Ways of Moral Decision Making

Entry requirements

Religious Studies and English GCSE grades A*–B are preferred.
