Geography AS/A2 at Honiton Community College

Course description

AS and A2 Geography seeks to explore some of the important issues facing the world today. Specifically we seek to understand what is happening to our natural environments around the world and the role that people play in this. Rivers, coasts, climate, hazardous environments, ecosystems, population, the global economy, urban problems and rural issues are all looked at in detail.

Entry requirements

5 GCSE passes (grade C, or above) including grade B in Geography and grade C or above in English. An interest in global issues and how people relate to and interact with the planet is important. A desire to learn about the world beyong Honiton and the people in it will make the course more enjoyable.
