Workskills BTEC Entry Level 3 Certificate at Aylesbury College

Course description

This is a one year course for students with moderate learning difficulties. The course is highly interactive and will prepare 16 - 18 year olds for the life of work.

Course content

Students will learn how to interact with employers other employees


Example modules Interview Techniques Planning and attending a work placement Plant Care Maintenance Running and Planning an Enterprise Activity


Entry requirements

There are no minimum entry requirements, however, you must show an outcome of Entry Level 3 or higher In your BKSB diagnostic assessment. You will also need to attend an interview and will need to provide a reference.


There will be assessments throughout the course and students will be required to complete assignments.

Future opportunities

Students will be able to progress onto a Level 1 or Level 2 programme of your choice across College.

After completion of the programme students should be able to move into paid or voluntary work.

Further information

During this course you will be expected to attend a one day work experience placement.
