Course description

What will I study at AS Level?

The AS Level follows the AQA Specification, which comprises of two units:

Unit 1 – Introductory Topics in Psychology

In this unit, you will learn about Social Influence, Memory and Attachment.

Unit 2 – Psychology in Context

This unit requires you to study Approaches in Psychology including Biopsychology, Psychopathology and Research Methods.

What will I study at A Level?

The A Level follows the AQA Specification, which comprises three units;

Unit 1 – Introductory Topics in Psychology

In this unit, you will learn about Social Influence, Memory, Attachment and Psychopathology.

Unit 2 – Psychology in Context

This unit requires you to study Approaches in Psychology, Biopsychology and Research Methods.

Unit 3 – Issues and options in Psychology

In this unit, you will study Issues and Debates in Psychology, Relationships, Schizoprenia and Forensic Psychology.

Entry requirements

CAPS 40 plus Grade B in GCSE English Language.
