Physical Education *FEES PAYABLE* at New Hall School

Course description

Studying PE at AS Level can be a useful 'stepping stone' towards a career in Teaching, Sports Medicine, Physiotherapy, Armed Services the Leisure Industry and Coaching to name but a few.

The course will give you a deeper understanding of the factors that influence efficient physical activity and performance. You'll learn more about the theory and practice of physical activity.

Entry requirements

At least a grade B in GCSE Physical Education (where applicable).

Students must be very capable sports performers in order to fulfil the practical aspects of the course. The activities can place candidates in physically demanding situations, so the student must be medically capable of coping and should not suffer from any medical condition which would be affected by strenuous exercise.

All students must be able to perform to a high level in at least two different activities from different activity profiles and have a genuine interest and willingness to take part in extra-curricular activities in a variety of sports.
