Management Advanced Apprenticeship Level 3 at Barnet and Southgate College

Course description

Apprenticeships are primarily aimed at individuals whose job role involves leading and managing teams of staff, for example Intermediate Apprentices may be: Team leaders/Section Managers/Floor Managers, Helpdesk Manager and Trainee Supervisor/Team Co-ordinator

Course content

Level 2 Diploma in Team Leading. Level 1 English, Maths and ICT and there will be an opportunity for candidates to study up to Level 2 if they meet the required standard.

Entry requirements

You will ideally have Maths, English and ICT qualifications to Level 1, however it is not a requirement that you have these qualifications as your programme of study can include these elements. You will be asked to undertake an Initial Assessment/interview which will ensure you are working at the correct level and that your employment situation meets the needs of the programme.

Future opportunities

Intermediate apprentices, with support and opportunities in the workplace, can progress onto: the Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship in Management other Level 3 Advanced apprenticeships such as Business Administration further education to undertake management, business related or other qualifications. With additional training, apprentices may be able to progress in their careers to roles such as first line managers, section managers, assistant managers, trainee managers, senior supervisors and junior non-commissioned officers (armed forces).
