Physics - AS/A2 level at Q3 Academy
Course description
AS/A2 Level Physics has been developed for students who wish to continue with a study of Physics after GCSE.
Course content
In the first year you will study 3 units: Unit 1 - Mechanics. Unit 2 - Electrons. Unit 3 - Practical Skills in Physics 1. In the seconD year you will study3 units: Unit 1 - Newtonian World. Unit 2 - Fields, Particles and frontiers of Physics. Unit 3 - Practical Skills in Physics 2.
Entry requirements
Students will need to have gained a minimum of 5 A* - C grades at GCSE, Grade B or above in GSCE Science (B grade in Maths would be preferred).
Assessment
Assessment is through written papers and assessment of practical skills.

In most cases the course is free of charge. A fee may charged for re-sits or the general public.
