Plumbing, Heating and Ventilation (Level 3) Diploma at Tresham College of Further and Higher Education
You will develop your plumbing practical skills, working on live systems, hot & cold systems and gas safety and central heating systems. The course will also cover: • maintaining pipe systems and components • hot and cold water • central heating • sanitation and roof weathering systems • pipe systems design and installation • organising resources • components installation and testing.
A Level 2 Certificate in Plumbing with equivalent English and maths.
Coursework is assessed through a combination of practical workshop assessments, written assignments and end of unit exams.
You will need to purchase your own personal protective equipment for the course (PPE) approx. £30 and textbooks approx. £20. You will also be required to purchase a basic tool kit.
This course will prepare you for further studies such as the Level 3 Building Services Engineering study programme which could lead onto study at degree level. You could also progress onto an Apprenticeship programme.
