The world of business is ever changing, encompassing many specialist areas and employing many millions of people worldwide. Business Studies is a popular course that has grown over the years. This two year vocational course teaches you all about this rapidly growing industry.

This BTEC Business qualification is designed to provide you with both a background to the business environment and a route into further study at university. It has a strong vocational context and enables students to develop a range of skills and techniques, person and professional skills and attitudes, which will prove invaluable for success within the working life.

Assessment

This qualification is assessed purely through submission of coursework. 

Future opportunities

The BTEC Subsidiary Diploma in Business provides a route to employment into the many diverse areas of business. These could include: roles in specialist areas such as management, marketing, finance, customer service or human resources in large organisations.  When combined with other qualifications, the BTEC Subsidiary Diploma is also a route of entry into university.
