Children and Young People's Workforce (QCF) Diploma Level 3 at Acacia Training & Development Ltd

Course description

This QCF Diploma is assessed in your own workplace and you will be allocated an Assessor who will visit you to carry out observations of your work and help you to identify relevant evidence of your competence in work. Acacia Training often offers learners additional courses that are either optional extras as part of an Advanced Apprenticeship or to help build knowledge towards the QCF Diploma as required. There is a need for the learner to take resposonsibility for their own portfolio

Course content

The level 3 Diploma is suitable for you if you work as a childminder, daycare supervisor, SureStart worker or a community nursery nurse. You may have some supervisory responsibilities. Learners need to be working with a key group and complete observations and planning.

Entry requirements

There are no formal entry requirements but you must be able to demonstrate your competence in a real working environment. This QCF Diploma is often a progression route from the QCF Certificate at Level 2

Financial information

The Skills Funding Agency requires Acacia Training to choose Advanced Apprenticeship funding over any other form of funding where there is a choice. The Advanced Apprenticeship is now available for all ages (subject to eligibility) and is made up of a framework of the QCF Diploma and Functional Skills.

The QCF Diploma is also available commercially to those who are not eligible for funding.

For learners aged 24+ this qualification is funded through a learner loan.

Within the Devon County Council area, some funding may be available for eligible learners with a learner contribution of £200
