Vehicle Maintenance and Repair - Apprenticeship Level 2 (EAOP) at Tameside College

Course description

You will be dealing with repairs, maintenance, identifying and reporting faults on all types of vehicles, from mopeds to Lorries. You will carry out routine light vehicle maintenance, removing and replace engine units as well as auxiliary electrical units and chassis units and components. Vehicle repair is challenging, hands-on work and every vehicle will present a new problem to solve. You will carry out routine maintenance and basic repairs whilst ensuring a safe working environment and good housekeeping standards are maintained. Tameside College will deliver an NVQ Level 2 Apprenticeship in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair via work based learning and day release to college. You will also undertake relevant Key Skills and Technical Certificate. The minimum duration of the apprenticeship will be 24 months and full training will be provided by the employer.

Entry requirements

GCSE grade A*-C Maths & English or equivalent.
