Uniformed Public Services Btec Level 3 Extended Diploma at Chichester College
This course is the second year of the 90 credit diploma. You will complete a further nine units and it is aimed at students interested in pursuing a career in the Uniformed Public Services. The full qualification is equivalent to three A Levels and accepted by universities. Are you looking to enhance your physical fitness, leadership skills, knowledge of current affairs and work of the Uniformed Public Services?
The course is made up of 18 modules over the 2 years. These include: Major Incidents, Land bases activities, Understanding Discipline, Employment in the Uniformed Services, Physical Preparation for the Uniformed Services. If you are aged 16-18 you will follow a study programme consisting of your main qualification, English and maths, enterprise and enrichment.
Minimum entry requirements are 5 GCSE passes at grade C or above, including English Language and Maths or Diploma in Public Services Level 2 -Merit Profile + GCSE grade C in English Language and Maths.
You will be assessed through assignments and practical tasks.
