Course description

Biology is at the heart of many social and economic issues. Bystudying biology, students learn to make more informeddecisions about their own health and about significantbiological issues such as genetically modified crops, the use ofantibiotics, and the eradication of invasive species. The studyof biology connects us to the world we are living in andreminds us of our interconnectedness with all other life forms.It develops awareness of the significance fauna and flora anddistinctive ecosystems. It provides opportunities to learn aboutthe processes of all living things.

Entry requirements

5 GCSEs at grades A* to C including English Language and Mathsplus Core and Additional Sciences at B grade or above.
