Dance at Runshaw College

Course description

Why should I come to Runshaw to study Dance?

Dance at Runshaw is an exciting and dynamic subject for those with a strong dance background who pass an audition with us.

We also run a full range of enrichment activities; two technique classes per week are on offer as well as two shows per year in which all students can be involved.

2008 saw the introduction of ‘Extension 12’, our fantastic Dance Academy which gives students the opportunity to perform in competitions in the UK and abroad and to experience workshops in many varied styles. This year our students came first in two categories in the Barcelona Dance Grand Prix!

In 2018, 82% of students achieved high grades.
