Extended Project at Little Heath School

Course description

The Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) is designed to help students to develop independent study skills such as time management, research and planning. One of the key things that the EPQ offers you is freedom of choice. You can choose a project in line with your interests or passions. Many students who have recently finished their A Levels at Little Heath School would identify the EPQ as the favourite part of their studies!

Entry requirements

You will have completed your AS Level year, and will apply for the EPQ in the summer term after your examinations. You will need good levels of literacy, so a minimum of a Grade C at GCSE English is required. You need to present a viable proposal for your project along with a plan for your research which needs to be extensive. You will apply by letter and be interviewed. Successful applicants will be informed and will start the course formally in the September of Year 13

How to apply

If you want to apply for this course, you will need to contact Little Heath School directly.
