Accounting (QCF) AAT Certificate Level 2 at Acacia Training

Course description

This is an AAT Qualification. Learners who choose this course are taught in a class at one of our training centres (Plymouth, Cornwall) on day release. Attendance of classes is required. The qualification units include: - Receiving and making payments - Double entry to trial balance - Journals, control accounts, bank reconciliations - Petty cash and three column cash book - Supplying cost information for decision making - Computerised accounts (SAGE) - Work effectively in Accounting and Finance.

Future opportunities

Although there are no stated entry requirements, you need to be reasonably numerate and be able to complete exams and written projects in English.

Progression routes:

  • work as accounts assistant clerks, cashier, credit control clerk, finance assistant, purchase ledger clerk or sales ledger clerk
  • progress to Level 3 and other further education courses
