Marine Engineering Intermediate Apprenticeship at Brockenhurst College

Course description

This qualification is primarily focused on future Level 3 Advanced apprentices building up the skills required to enter an organisation in the Marine industry.  It will also allow a learner to enter the workplace with all the basic skills required by employers and an Advanced Apprenticeship Scheme.  


Course content

The course is made up of a number of units (depending upon specialism) comprising of mandatory and optional units.

Entry requirements

Students need to have at least 4 GCSEs at grade D or above.  Applicants with experience who can demonstrate a positive attitude to learning and developing within the Marine industry will also be considered. 

Future opportunities

Students may progress onto an Advanced apprenticeship framework subject to Employer and College reports and quality of the portfolios/assessments.
