Knowledge Element - Edexcel BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Building Services Engineering Technology and Project Management - delivered over 2 years and requires the candidate to attend Trafford College on a day release basis. Entry requirements

3 GCSE's at Grade A* - C including Maths and English and a Science.

Assessment

The NVQ programme is modular, and consists of core and optional units. All assessments are carried out in the workplace. Assessment of the NVQ is continous by a variety of methods including observation of practical skills, oral questioning, written statements and projects. The BTEC Diploma is assessed by assignment and course work and comprises of a number of units covering all aspects of applied science.
