Sport (Tottenham Hotspur Foundation Education & Football Programme) BTEC Level 2/3 Diploma at Epping Forest College
This exciting course is designed for learners who want a career in sport, primarily in coaching and training. It gives valuable experience and insight into the coaching process and developing and supporting elite performance. The course blends football development, coaching and playing, with a vocational study programme at Level 3. A team of qualified staff from the Tottenham Hotspur Foundation and Epping Forest College will deliver the coaching and teaching elements of the programme. Learners will benefit from the highest standards of coaching and industry knowledge; this will be invaluable in enhancing their employability and ensuring they have the highest aspirations.
You will be enrolled on a one year, BTEC Level 3 Subsidiary Diploma in Sport.

Applicants will have to successfully pass a football trial and an interview with the college. Learners will be required to sign a code of conduct, and will not be allowed to train or play football unless they are up to date with their academic commitments.
Assessment will be made with a combination of practical assessments and theory assignments
Materials will be discussed at interview.
At the end of the programme learners will progress to:
- the second year of the programme, topping up their BTEC Level 3 Subsidiary Diploma to a BTEC Level 3 Diploma while continuing the playing performance programme
- employment in the Sports Coaching sector
