French A-Level *FEES PAYABLE* at St Mary's Senior School

Course description

Aims of the Course • To learn to communicate confidently, clearly and imaginatively French, through both the spoken and written word, using increasingly accurate, complex and varied language. • To develop an awareness and appreciation of the culture. • To develop analytical and evaluative skills. • To foster the ability in students to use French for different purposes. • To prepare students for further study of French at university. • To show knowledge of and apply accurately the grammar and syntax of French.

Entry requirements

It is expected that you will achieve an A Grade at GCSE in the subjects that you wish to continue to AS Level.

If you are joining us for Sixth Form from another school we require that you achieve at least six A Grades and above at GCSE Level.
