Work Based Learning Element - Team Leading Diploma Level 2: This is a work based qualification including both competency and knowledge units based on your workplace. An assessor will be assigned to help you select the modules which best fit with your work and will visit you regularly to help you compile a portfolio of evidence to show your competence. As the Diploma is tailored to the individual, the time taken to complete your portfolio will depend on how quickly you collect the evidence. Normally, a Diploma Level 2 will take a minimum of 12-15 months to complete.
Functional Skills: English, Maths & ICT at Level 1
You will cover topics including:
Health and Safety in the workplace
Our standard programme includes the college day release to complete the Technical Certificate and Functional Skills however this can be discussed with individual employers and candidates prior to acceptance on the programme as we can be fairly flexible on the layout of the programme.
3 GCSE passes at C or above including Maths and English
Full time employment in a suitable position will be required to complete the apprenticeship.
Employers who recruit via the college are usually looking for candidates with good GCSE grades. However, attitude, flexibility and a willingness to learn and progress through the apprenticeship programme are as important as qualifications.
