Course description

The aim is to experience technical aspects as well as exploring the physical skills and emotional responses associated with Drama. Assessment comes from 60% Drama Coursework (2 units of Drama Exploration) and 40% Drama Performance - a externally assessed pratical examination (3 options).

Future opportunities

You could take this course to prepare for advanced level courses such as an A/AS Level in Drama or you may need to strengthen your grades by completing a foundation or intermediate vocational qualification. With further training, you could go into a job related to drama such as working in the Film, Television or Theatre industries. You may also like to look at joining a theatre group to increase your drama and theatre experience. You could also go straight into employment and do further training or part time study with the support of your employer.
