Course description

WHY CHOOSE BCA?

Whether you want to build your functional skills alongside an introduction to Early Years or you want to gain your EYE qualification, we have a course to fit your needs.

BCA has much to offer, including:

  • A team of well qualified and supportive staff
  • An on site Nursery catering for children aged 3 months to 5 years
  • Opportunities to support ‘Farms Days’ working with 5-7 year olds from local infant schools
  • Trips to a forest school

Course content

On this two year course you will develop essential skills such as teamwork and communications, enabling you to work closely with parents and providing you with confidence you need to be successful working with young people.

Entry requirements

5 GSCEs (or equivalent) at C grade or above. It is essential that these GCSEs contain English and maths at a grade C or above.

Future opportunities

After this course, you will have occupational licence to practise in an Early Years setting which could include working in a supervisory capacity. The course also offers a maximum of 420 UCAS points which can enable progression into Higher Education.
