Theory (50%), Written paper (50%). The specification includes the study of these topics: parenthood and pregnacy, Physical development, Nutrition and Health, Intellectual, Social and Emotional development, Family and the Community.
Optional (Key Stage 3 Level 4 and above)
You could take this course to prepare for advanced level courses such as an A/AS Level in Economics and Business Studies or you may need to strengthen your grades by completing a foundation or intermediate vocational qualification. With further training, you could go into a job related to economics, business studies, marketing, finance and accounting, human resources and public relations. You could also go straight into employment and do further training or part time study with the support of your employer.
