Mathematics GCSE Re-Sit at Coulsdon Sixth Form College
A Grade 4 in Mathematics GCSE is an important qualification for almost all careers and courses. The Mathematics GCSE course prepares students for the Foundation level GCSE qualification.What goes well with this course?
On this course students will study topics related to Numbers, Data Handling, Algebra and Space, Measure and Shape.
The course follows the Edexcel Linear Syllabus.
This course is compulsory for students who have a GCSE Maths Grade 3. Students with a 2 or lower Grade at GCSE Maths will take an appropriate numeracy course.
Students who are successful on this course will be fully focused and committed. They must be prepared to take full advantage of all support and resources available.
The final Grade is based on 3 written papers (two calculator and one non-calculator), each lasting 1.5 hours. Students will have the opportunity to sit the examinations in either November or June.
