Electrical Installations Level 2 Diploma at Millennium Academy Ltd

Course description

This course is for those who want to learn the basics of electro-technical principles and practice to help them start off their career in the building services engineering sector. This course is usually followed by the Level 3 Qualification, 17th Edition, NVQ3 and AM2 to become a qualified electrician.

Course content

The course covers the following 5 units:

Unit 201 – Health and safety in building services engineering

Unit 202 – Principles of electrical science

Unit 203 – Electrical installation technology

Unit 204 – Installation of wiring systems and enclosures

Unit 210 – Understanding how to communicate with others within building services engineering.

Entry requirements

No formal qualifications are required; however it is recommended that candidates have Basic Skills at level 1.

Within the period of the course, you will be assessed by a range of methods, which include multiple choice on-line exam, written assessment and practical assessments:
