“Before I started my Sixth Form studies I had known for a long time that I wanted to be a Doctor and I decided to stay at CCHS as I had a strong belief that the staff and facilities could support me best to get the results I needed to achieve my grades. The teachers that I had worked with for the previous 5 years instilled confidence in me and as we knew each other so well, I valued and trusted them to do the best for me. I was also supported throughout the Sixth Form to access additional help and knowledge with Pre-med courses, the UKCAT tests and practise interviews arranged to prepare me fully for the arduous selection process. I am now loving my time at Brighton and Sussex Medical School, which has proved to be the ideal location and course for me. It is hard work and to be highly organised is crucial to remain in the top group of students on my course, who all achieved top grades to get on this course." - Connor Bruce
