Fabrication and Welding Apprenticeship Level 2 at Training Services 2000 Ltd

Course description

Basic engineering drawing, measuring and marking out, knowledge of engineering materials and handling of engineering information, fitting using hand skills, producing sheet metal components and assemblies and a range of welding techniques.

Course content

Level 2 Intermediate Level Apprenticeship

Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Performing Engineering Operations
Technical Certificate, Level 2 e.g. BTEC First Diploma
Functional Skills, Level 1 in Maths, English, ICT
There is also the opportunity to progress to Level 3 or an Advanced Level Apprenticeship

Entry requirements

Level 2 – A minimum of four GCSEs at grade D including English, Maths, Science and Technology is desirable
