History A Level at Anthony Gell School

Course description

History is fun. And it’s frequently said that understanding the past helps us to understand the present. However, there is so much history that we cannot study it all; but History A - level will give you the equipment to study all the bits you could ever be interested in. History is built upon a set of core skills which are the basis of most university courses and most jobs. These include the ability to research things, to question and think independently, to synthesize information, to present information, to debate.
