5 GCSEs at Grade C or above including English or Maths, or BTEC Level 2 Diploma at merit level with Maths or English. Alternative qualifications in caring of an equivalent level to the above. A variety of compulsory placements in care settings are offered during the 2 years. An enhanced CRB check will be required to work in these areas and settings.
