Course description

The IT User Apprenticeship provides work-based training development and new learning opportunities, to develop your IT knowledge and skills within the workplace. Having the ability to use IT effectively allows you to work in a variety of industries and job roles. Functional Skills are included as part of this programme.

Course content

The IT User Apprenticeship provides work-based training development and new learning opportunities, to develop your IT knowledge and skills within the workplace. Having the abilitiy to use IT effectively allows you to work in a variety of industries and job roles. Functional Skills are included as part of this programme.

Entry requirements

Candidates must be 16 years of age or over on entry. No formal entry requirements. To enter this programme you will need to show enthusiasm, commitment and interest in the subject area. You will need to be employed in the industry. Good IT skills are required.

Assessment

This Apprenticeship is assessed in the workplace through a combination of observation/discussions/questions and answers/assignments/product evidence etc.

Future opportunities

IT User Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship and improved career prospects.
