Photography (Digital and Traditional) BTEC Diploma Level 2 at Gloucestershire College

Course description

This course gives you the opportunity to learn about the world of photography, film and digital imagery.

Course content

Your studies will include:

  • Lighting, and Studio Practice
  • Composition and Portraiture
  • Landscape, Fashion and Architectural imagery


At Gloucestershire College we want students to develop their English and maths skills so that they achieve their learning goals and future career aims. For this reason all full-time students who have not achieved grade A* to C English language or maths GCSE will study these subjects as part of their course.

Entry requirements

You will need to have 3 GCSE's at grade D or above.

Future opportunities

On successful completion you can progress to the Level 3 in Photography.

Further information

This programme is a one year course. It will be at take place in the colleges fully resourced computer suits and photography studios. All successful applicants will need to have a satisfactory interview. Full details regarding fees and entitlement to fee waivers can be obtained from student services
