Grade C in GCSE English and/or History
History often leads to professions which require a great grasp of thinking and writing and arguing skills. As well as those wishing to study History at a higher level, it is a favourite course for those wishing to pursue careers in Journalism, Law, Marketing, Politics and Business but the nature of the course ensures that it stands any student in good stead for the future since, as George Orwell put it, "He who controls the past, controls the future."
