Further Mathematics at Merchant Taylors' Girls' School

Course description

If you have shown a natural aptitude for Mathematics so far, or intend to study Mathematics or a related subject, such as Physics, Engineering or Chemistry, you should also consider taking the Further Mathematics course. This is an A-level in its own right, but can only be taken in conjunction with A-level Mathematics. It extends your understanding of the concepts and applications of Mathematics and introduces a number of new areas that are not covered in the standard A-level, such as complex numbers. It is a qualification that is highly desired by a number of top-level universities for Mathematics and Science degree courses.
