Learning and Development Level 3 at Total Training Provision
The Apprenticeship is designed to meet the inital and continuing professional development needs of learning and development practitioners who are involved in developing and assessing the skills, knowledge and competence of learners primarily in the workplace or inrelated programes of learning.
Developing knowledge and skills indelivering effective learning and development provision and/or carrying out assessment and assessment-related quality assurance activites for an organisation.
Learn about developing and assessing the skills, knowledge and comptence of learners primarily in the workplace or in work-related programes of learning.
The minimum number of credits that must be achieved is 30. the 2 mandatory units are:
- Understanding the princilples and practices of the learning and development
- Reflect on and improve own practice in learning and development
Optional units are chosen to suit Learning and Development requirments.
You need to Ensure that you are working in an enviroment where you deal with learning and development for staff.
This qualification applies to staff that have a learning and development function as part of ther job role. Examples of this is workplace managers and supervisors and experienced staff with responsibiliety for the learning and development of collegues who have less experiance, skills and knowledge.

The qualification will be delivered in the workplace. Sessions can be delivered on 1-1 basis with an assessor and group basis where assessments are planned indivisually with each learner.
